VANCOUVER, BC – Wines of Germany joined the fourth annual Top Drop Vancouver event at the Roundhouse on May 24, 2017, hosting a regional tasting station which provided education for trade, media and consumers. As Top Drop is focused on terroir driven and unique wines, the station featured wines from the next generation of German winemakers and pioneers who are making wines that set themselves apart from generations before.
Over 500 hipster guests enjoyed a wide range of Riesling from dry to off-dry, sparkling Riesling, Pinot Blanc and Pinot Noir. This event allowed Wines of Germany to show the diversity of wines produced and highlight the lesser known styles and varieties that are available in British Columbia.
Guests were impressed. “Amazing line up of wines,” enthused journalist Treve Ring, of Gismondi on Wine and Wine Align. “It is great to have the opportunity to taste these wines side by side and in line from dry to off dry. I have some of these on my list, and have been reminded how exciting they are,” noted Christina Hartigan, of the Fairmont Pacific Rim.
Wines of Germany looks forward to Top Drop 2018!
