Wines of Germany Webcast: A Closer Look with Anne Krebiehl, MW and John Szabo, MS
More than 160 hospitality professionals, wine experts and influencers shared in an interactive virtual masterclass on German wines organized by the Canadian office of Wines of Germany on Monday June 8th, 12:45 pm EDT.
Host Anne Krebiehl, MW and author of The Wines of Germany (The Classic Wine Library, Sept 2019) fascinated viewers with her in depth knowledge and passion for German wines as she presented an informative and concise overview of the modern trends, regions, varietals and unique terroir of Germany. To round out the experience, Anne and MASTER SOMMELIER JOHN SZABO led viewers on a guided tasting of some of Germany’s finest white and red wines. 47 participants received the wines to taste along with the hosts yet many more were tuned in and engaged in the thought provoking Q+A, discussion and trivia that followed. Participants who completed the class received a copy of Anne Krebiehl’s book.
